Maddie’s Fight foundation holds a special place in my heart, as it has been a source of hope and strength for my family during an incredibly challenging time. As a mother of a daughter who was diagnosed with cancer at 16 years old, I can personally attest to the emotional toll that such a diagnosis brings. Maddie’s Fight Foundation has been a lifeline for so many families providing not only emotional support but also connecting families with a community of people who truly understand the struggles we face. Inspired by the impact Maddie’s Fight Foundation has had on my family, I decided to get involved in the organization myself. I joined Maddie’s Fight Foundation to give back and help others who are going through similar battles. Together, we can continue to uplift one another, share strength, and foster hope in the face of adversity.

Maddie's Fight Foundation allows me to spread awareness and be an advocate for osteosarcoma. My daughter absolutely adored Maddie and her shining personality so when I was asked to be on the board, how could I say anything but yes? Being a board member means we get to keep raising money and helping families the way the community helped Maddie when she was diagnosed in 2016. Seeing first hand what this horrible disease put her family through and having a daughter who is the same age as Maddie, it really hit home. I am honored I get to be a part of this and get to talk about Maddie and the foundation every chance I can. I hope to continue helping thousands more in the years to come and to continue raising awareness and money for those in need.

Maddie's Fight Foundation means so much to me personally as it symbolizes hope, resilience, and the power of community. The foundation is a way to showcase Maddie's bravery and turn her story into a force for good in the world, keeping her spirit alive through acts of compassion and support. Maddie was always such a goof, she was so fun to be around. Even when she was upset, her giant "crocodile tears" could make you smile. When Maddie was first diagnosed, I, like everyone else, was devastated. Maddie showed such strength and courage during her battle with osteosarcoma that I was in awe of her. Even in the midst of her battle with cancer, she chose to be a part of clinical trials, knowing it may not be a cure for her but for other children in the future. She did not want other kids and families to go through the same thing she did.  I miss Maddie every single day but am honored to be apart of the Maddie's Fight Foundation. This foundation is a way to honor her memory, raise awareness, and help other children and families facing similar challenges. I know Maddie would be so proud that we continue to help others in her name.
