Founded in 2017, Maddie's Fight Foundation is a fully licensed 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial assistance to families of children with cancer and to supporting research for Osteosarcoma treatment.
Why Maddie's Fight Foundation Was Created:
In May of 2016, nine year old Madison Lane Demers was diagnosed with Multi Centric Osteogenic Sarcoma, a bone cancer so rare, few doctors see a single case in their lifetime.
On January 5, 2017, after a brave and difficult fight, Maddie gracefully and bravely surrendered. During her battle she passionate expressed her desire to use her experience to help other children who were sick and suffering and she shared her interest in participating in research to help put a stop to Osteosarcoma.
